If you have a specific enquiry you may carry out a word search by entering the word(s) of your choice.

We also offer searching by 'Artist', 'Engraver', 'Publisher', 'People', and 'Places'.

If you simply want to explore the collections you can start by selecting one of our suggested 'themes' e.g. 'Abstract ideas', 'Natural World', etc.

Use 'Advanced search' to search by artist, date, picture type, medium, collection and support.

The results of searches can be browsed quickly via small thumbnail images. Selecting an image of interest will display an enlarged image accompanied by related information. Selecting the image again will allow you to view it at full-screen size.

You may compile your own selection of images by 'adding them to the Basket'. Click on the 'View Basket' button to view your selection. If you would like to order any prints or files, go to the 'Checkout' screen.

You can start a completely 'New Search', adding further selected images to the Basket, at any time. The '<' button in the top right hand corner will take you back to the previous screen.
