Ross Court, West Hill, Putney, looking north. Situated in Putney Heath, these flats were built on the site of Bath House, which was home to the Ross Institute and Hospital for Tropical Diseases, established in 1926. The institute was named after Sir Ronald Ross, who discovered the malarial parasite, which helped combat the disease. Bath House was later demolished and the new court was named in Ross' honour. Within the grounds an older dwelling, Ross Cottage, remains.
