View of front elevations of eighteenth-century four-storey terraced houses at 10-12 Bolton Street, Westminster. A Royal Society of Arts plaque at number 11 records the fact that Madame D'Arblay (Fanny Burney 1752-1840) the novelist, diarist and playwright lived here. The street takes its name from the Duke of Bolton.
