A view of buildings in Marylebone Lane, Marylebone. Front elevations of numbers 56 and 58 Marylebone Lane and 66a Wigmore Street. Marylebone Cafe occupies the ground floor at number 58, a five-storey, late-nineteenth century house with decorative red brick and stone lintels. A cafe occupies the ground floor at number 56. Number 66a Wigmore Street is occupied by Benham & Sons Ltd, a commercial catering equipment manufacturer. Its engineering stores were located behind Marylebone Lane. Number 56 and number 66a were demolished in 2015 and a new building erected for Schoen Clinic, a private orthopaedic and spinal hospital. There is a crate of empty milk bottles outside the cafe and a car, registration VUL 871M. In the background, pedestrians cross Wigmore Street; there is scaffolding on a new build at 39-49 Wigmore Street, and two advertisements: one for Lamb's Navy Rum reads, 'Join the Lamb's Navy', the other for Silk Cut cigarettes reads, 'The mild cigarette'.
