Description
View of shops at 146-154 Oxford Street, Westminster, with F.W. Woolworth & Co. Ltd at numbers 150-154 Oxford Street. It also housed the HMV flagship store from 1986 and later Sports Direct in 2014. This was Woolworths' second store in Oxford Street, which opened in 1932 and was purpose built with typically wide windows of the period. It had a self-service cafeteria. Traffic lights are on the pavement as pedestrians walk by. A number 23 bus to Becontree Heath is outside the store.
