A view of front elevations of terraced houses at 29-33 Ampton Street, King's Cross. Built in 1819-23 by Thomas Cubitt, numbers 21-39 (odd) and their railings were listed Grade II in 1971, listing number 1246998. An LCC brown plaque records that number 33 was the home of Thomas Carlyle. A small child is visible faintly at far left.
