A view of the front elevations of terraced houses at 17-21 (odd) Ampton Street, King's Cross. Numbers 17 and 19 are stuccoed and have porticoes and at the former, a man in a peaked cap leans on one of the uprights. Behind him another man is visible on the doorstep. Another man is visible at the first floor front window. A sign on the railings says "Whitbys", suggesting the building is under renovation. Number 21 has a dark render to the ground floor and dark brick facade above. Built in 1819-23 by Thomas Cubitt, numbers 21-39 (odd) and their railings were listed Grade II in 1971, listing number 1246998. Built by William Cubitt in 1835-39, numbers 15, 17 and 19 and their railings were listed Grade II in 1971, listing number 1246996.
