A view of a ground-floor front room at a terraced house at 127 Camden Street, Camden Town. The room has a patterned wallpaper but a different, faux wood finish on the chimney breast. On the light coloured double entry doors, the mouldings around the six panels have been picked out in a dark colour. Many small items hang on the walls including some pictures, two pocket watches, a wristwatch, plates and a coin collection. On the mantlepiece are numerous items including a clock, a brass model of a stork, two candlestick holders and a table lamp. Small china items are displayed in a case next to the fireplace. The fireplace holds a small electric fire in front of the grate and behind a low guard. A stack of magazines and numerous other items are visible. The room is furnished with an armchair and a sofa, both leather or fake leather. The ceiling has a moulding to the edge. The house still exists.
