A view of the front elevations of shops with accommodation above at 251-265 Camden High Street, Camden Town. The shops are, from the left, a second-hand store at number 251, an electrical retailer at 253, H. Wood & Sons fruit and vegetables at 255 and Minar Enterprises, Afro Asian grocers, at 257. At 259 is another domestic appliance retailer. That building is the left-hand of a group of three, denoted by roof mouldings. At the right are EJ Talby, fishmonger, and the Oxford Arms pub at number 265. All the buildings have two storeys of accommodation above. Several people are visible on the pavement. Parked in the road are a Ford Escort saloon and a white van with its rear and driver's doors open. Between them a hand barrow stands in the road. A female shopper is visible at the greengrocers. The buildings still exist.
