A view of the entrance hall and staircase of a grand house at 16 Fitzroy Square. The entrance hall has white panelling up to a dado rail that is a stylised linenfold design. A dark wooden sideboard in the hallway has a vase of flower on top. The ceiling has mouldings and corbels support a crossbeam. The staircase has a gentle spiral to the right with a widened opening at the ground-floor. A large vase stands in a niche on the turn. On a halfway landing a door is visible with coloured glass panels in the door and at each side. Dating from 1827-28, numbers 11, 12 and 15-19 Fitzroy Square and their railings were Grade II* listed in 1954; listing number 1112995.
