A view of a staircase at a grand house in use as a branch of National Provincial Bank at 6 Fitzroy Square, Fitzrovia. The understairs area has been panelled in with insets and mouldings. It is badly scuffed. The treads are painted and the banister is supported on elegant wrought iron double spindles. Part of a terrace designed by Robert and James Adam and dating from 1792-94, numbers 1, 1a and 2-8 Fitzroy Square and attached railings and lamp holders, were Grade I listed in 1954; listing number 1112991.
