A view of the ground-floor rear room at a grand house in use by National Provincial Bank at 6 Fitzroy Square, Fitzrovia. The room contains office equipment including three telephones and a leather covered desk. A heater stands on the floor in front of a radiator. The room has two sash windows edged with dark curtains and pelmets. A small framed photograph hangs on the wall between the windows. Part of a terrace designed by Robert and James Adam and dating from 1792-94, numbers 1, 1a and 2-8 Fitzroy Square and attached railings and lamp holders, were Grade I listed in 1954; listing number 1112991.
