Description
View of a temporary archway erected for the Victoria Diamond Jubilee on the East India Dock Road, Poplar, looking east. The archway has 'All Saints Poplar 1817' printed on it (marking the date Poplar was created by an Act of Parliament separating it from St Dunstan's Stepney) and a model ship on top, similar to the model on The Hibbert Gate to West India Dock. Trams pass each other and pedestrians are visible. On the right is London and County Bank located at 52 East India Dock Road.
