"The Blessed Damozel"; taken from a poem by Dante Gabriel Rossetti. The 'Blessed Damozel' is in heaven yearning for her lover on earth. The scene shows the Virgin Mary seated in the centre and surrounded by the handmaidens Cecile, Gertrude, Magdelen, Margaret and Rosalys. The pair of lovers can be seen in white on the right.
