View of three-storey Georgian terraced houses in Penryn Street, Camden, looking south towards Platt Street. Houses have stucco finish to the ground storey with yellow stock brickwork above, sash windows and first-floor cast-iron balconies, and panelled front doors with fanlights. Ongoing building work is evident on the west side where a cement mixer, wheel barrow with builder's materials including a pile of sand can be seen. Houses on the east side of the street are enclosed with paling fencing as part of the Greater London Council's rehabilitation project. Houses at the end in Platt Street, seen in a dilapidated state, have been since demolished and replaced with a housing estate. Vehicles parked either side of the street include a Volvo 144, a Bedford CA panel van, an Austin Cambridge, a Ford Escort Mk I, a Triumph 2000 Mk I saloon, a Vauxhall Cresta PC, a Morris Minor van and probably, a Honda N600. A man in what appears to be a hat and cape can be seen walking along the west side pavement.
