View of newly-refurbished three-storey Georgian terraced houses in Penryn Street, Camden, looking south towards Platt Street. Houses have stucco finish to the ground storey with yellow stock brickwork above, sash windows and first-floor cast-iron balconies, and panelled front doors with fanlights. Houses on the east side of the street are enclosed with paling fencing as part of the Greater London Council's rehabilitation project. Houses at the end in Platt Street, seen in a dilapidated state, together with the former police station on the left, have been since demolished and replaced with a housing estate. Vehicles parked either side of the street include a Volvo 144, a Bedford CA panel van, an Austin Cambridge, a Ford Escort Mk I and probably, a Honda N600.
