View of Samuel E. Bates, fruit seller, at 5 Stoney Street, Borough Market, Southwark. The Wheatsheaf pub is next door at number 6. Two-wheeled barrows on the street. Number 5 is an early eighteenth-century building, which is Grade II listed; listing number 1385937. As of 2020, the renowned Appleby's fish shop and restaurant occupies the premises.
