Description
Number 112 Ben Jonson Road, Stepney, a double fronted two-storey detached house. This house has a garage with double doors to the left of the front door, which has two steps and arched doorway with semi-circular fanlight. There is an arched sash window to the right of the door. The first floor has three square sashed windows set in recessed arch surrounds, all with juliet balconies. This standalone house is surrounded by Prefabs, the area having sustained damage during World War II, and one of the blocks of flats in the Limehouse Fields Estate can be seen in the background. This house has been demolished and the site now forms part of Halley Primary School.
