A view of buidings on Weymouth Terrace, Haggerston. In the centre of the photo is the gated entrance to the industrial buildings at 171-185 Hackney Road. There are signs on the gates for Poplar Flock Mills and for H. G. Kewley Ltd, makers of office furniture. A large van without a number plate is parked in the yard. On the right is part of the front elevation of number 1 Weymouth Terrace; this building has a stuccoed facade, a pediment and iron railings. A man stands on an A-frame window cleaner's ladder at the ground-floor window, a coach-built pram is parked in the front garden. The buildings shown were replaced in the 1970s by social housing, the Fellows Court Estate.
