Description
A view of Cleveland Way, Stepney, looking south to Mile End Road and showing the entrance to Cleveland Grove on the right. The buildings on each side of Cleveland Grove no longer exist and a gated housing estate has been built in the area. Bollards are seen there with white stripes. A building with a large shutter at ground level is on the right. In the background is a commercial building with large Doric columns at second and third floors - this is in 2020 occupied by a Tesco Express shop on the corner with Mile End Road. Other commercial and residential buildings can be seen. Parked in the road on the left are vans including a Ford D-series box van and also cars. A man is walking across the road.
