View of the south side of the Mile End Road, Stepney, featuring the Fountain public house. Hoares Ales Stout and Pale Ale are being advertised. A horse and cart is standing outside a cafe advertising ‘ices’. The Fountain public house was rebuilt sometime after World War II and that building was demolished in 2014.
