Number 811 Commercial Road, Stepney, Francis & Chris Walters Undertakers. A Victorian Undertakers shop front with name in gold lettering and statues displayed in the window. This two-storey early to mid-nineteenth-century building has a stuccoed facade with parapet. There is a bay window on the first-floor level. The shop front has twisted side pillars with carved end stops and a sign board projects into the pavement. Two men, one with a cigarette in his mouth, are standing in the side door. The shop next door has advertising which includes Walls Ice Cream and R. Whites Lemonade. Number 811 Commercial Road was Grade II listed in 1973; listing number 1357830. No longer a funeral directors, the building has more recently been used as the Noor-Uddeen Academy.
