A derelict site by Wapping New Stairs, Wapping High Street, Wapping. The site is directly adjacent to the Thames riverfront, and the mast and boom of a Thames barge can be seen moored to the wharf, with the stern of a ship flying a flag to the right. The pitched roof of the Old Aberdeen Wharf can be seen on the left. The site is derelict with a lot of weed growth. On the other side of the river to the right can be seen The Angel public house, and to the left the steeple of St Mary's Church in Rotherhithe, and many wharves and chimneys. The site is now Waterside Gardens, a small riverside park located between Wapping New Stairs and the Thames River Police (Marine Policing Unit) boatyard.
