Description
Strand, Westminster. Aldwych at Strand by the site of Australia House (the Australian High Commission) under construction. This was built between 1912-1918 and designed in a Beaux Arts-style by A. Marshall Mackenzie and A.G.R. Mackenzie. Rubble, planks of wood and workmen are in the foundations. Above ground is St Clement Danes Church.
