Description
English Electric Company Building Headquarters, Aldwych and Strand looking east, Westminster. Built on the site of the Gaiety Theatre which closed just before World War II. This was an extension to Marconi House built in 1958. A detail of the bronze statues 'Power' and 'Speed' by Charles Wheeler which now reside at Eltham College. The site was demolished in 2005. Pedestrians are outside.
