A view of the front elevation of a grand house at 37 Chesham Place, Belgravia. The elevation is in Lowndes Place. The house is scaffolded at full height and surrounded by a hoarding. It has four storeys over a basement and is four windows wide. The front door sits under a porch supported on Tuscan columns decorated with a frieze with triglyphs. A blue plaque on number 37 records that it was the home of Lord John Russell (1792-1878), twice prime minister.
