A view of terraced houses at 36 and 37 Chesham Place, Belgravia. The houses have four storeys plus mansarded attic over a basement. The front and side elevation of number 37 are show. Its front elevation is in Lowndes Place to the left where it is four windows wide while the side elevation is three windows wide. The front elevation of number 36 to the right is three windows wide. The fronts are stucco covered. The front doors sit under porticoes on Tuscan columns with a frieze of triglyphs and dentils. A Ford Cortina Mark III car is parked in the street. Dating from the early to mid-19th century, numbers 29-37 Chesham Place were Grade II listed in 1970, listing number 1066264. A blue plaque on number 37 records that it was the home of Lord John Russell (1792-1878), twice prime minister.
