A view of the front elevations of terraced buildings at 37-41 Charing Cross, Westminster. At far left is a small gap between buildings at Buckingham Court. The buildings have windows on the ground floor as if they are retail premises. Above are two or three further storeys of accommodation plus roof dormers. Brass plates can be seen on the doors of number 41. The buildings no longer exist and the former premises of Glyn Mills bank occupy of the site. This part of Charing Cross is now part of Whitehall. At far right, number 42 is partly visible. This building still exists as the Horse & Guardsman pub at 16-18 Whitehall.
