Description
A view of the first-floor front room of a terraced town house at 9 Conduit Street, Mayfair, the premises of fashion house Christian Dior. Two mannequins wear dresses and in the centre is a circular sofa. Garments hang in a cupboard. The room is hung with fabric swags. A chandelier hangs from the centre of the domed ceiling which carries classical decoration. Dating from 1779, number 9 Conduit Street was Grade II* listed in 1958; listing number 1219898.
