A view of the front elevations of buildings in Glasshouse Street, Soho, from Piccadilly Circus. On the left is the County Fire Office at 50 Regent Street. An inscription above the vehicle entrance reads: "Alliance Life Office". Beyond it is a branch of Barclays Bank at number 52 Regent Street. Many pedestrians can be seen on the pavement and in the road. Dating from Sir Reginald Blomfield's 1910-1923 grandiose rebuilding of Nash's Regent Street Quadrant, the County Fire Office was Grade II listed in 1972, listing number 1227630.
