Front elevation of a detached, two-storey house at 51, Balgores Lane, Gidea Park, Romford. It was built in 1911 to a design by architects G. Berkeley Wills as part of a modernist house design exhibition. There is a three window range at ground floor level with a double and two single panels and a single range with four panels at first floor level with a semi-circular arched window over. The windows have wooden shutters to the ends. The front door is part glazed with bottle bottom glass. There is a small cartwheel in view. A lamp on the wall next to the door says, "REDCO". The attached single-storey garage has doors open showing tins and containers within. A flat section of the garage roof is being used to display two rectangular window boxes. There is a front lawn with shrub border and a decorative metal garden gate can be seen. The building lies within the Gidea Park Conservation Area.
