View of Longridge, Kingsley House, EdgeHill, The Little House and The Hermitage, London Road, Harrow on the Hill. Sign on right points to Bowden House established in 1911 by Dr Hugh Crichton-Miller (1877-1959), an early pioneer in the recognition and treatment of neurosis, who later founded the Tavistock Clinic.
