Description
View of boarded up houses and the former police station in Platt Street, Camden, looking east from the junction with Charrington Street towards the c1940s Chenies eight-storey housing block at the far end. Vehicles parked at the roadside include a Ford D-series skip lorry, a Ford Escort Mk I, Fiat 128 saloon and estate models and a Bedford CA flatbed lorry with builder's chatting next to the open door. All buildings on the right have since been demolished and replaced with a low-rise housing estate and around a new entrance road, Somers Close.
