Trinity Square Gardens, Tower Hamlets. View of the Tower of London on the far side of Tower Hill, from, probably, one of the upper floors of the Port of London Authority building on Trinity Square. The Merchant Navy Memorial, Second World War section is visible in the foreground and is Grade II* Listed, listing number 1031597. The Merchant Navy Memorial, First World War section is visible behind, and is Grade I Listed, listing number 1260087. The Tower of London, including the central turreted White Tower, satellite buildings, the inner and outer walls and grounds within the revetment walls, is variously Grade I, II* and II listed under twelve separate Historic England entries and is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Scaffolding around Martins Tower can be seen in the view; traffic and parked vehicles on Tower Hill include models by Hillman, Ford, Mercedes and Citroen.
