View of the backs of three-storey shops and offices with flats above at 662 to 670 High Road, Tottenham, looking west, with the entrance to the single-storey showroom of Robert Chidley Limited Rootes Group with its glazed sliding doors at the rear of 658 to 660 in the foreground. Two men, possibly customers, can be seen admiring a Hillman Hunter parked on the forecourt along with other Hillman Imp and Hunter models, a Singer Vogue and an Austin 1100 saloon. The terrace of buildings behind are Grade II listed, listing numbers 1358832, 1188865, 1079239 and 1079240. The dealership has since been demolished and replaced by a mixed-use development of shops and flats named Tom Dove Place.
