Description
A group of children dressed as waiters and chefs working in the service room, supervised by Iwan Kriens, a Dutch chef who was a well known lecturer who won gold medals at cookery exhibitions. He became an Advisor to the Ministry of Food at the War Office, and later set up formal training for Army cooks, leading to the creation of the Army Catering Corps.
