"A whole family lost"; showing a Bank of England beadle acting as Town Crier, holding a bell in his left hand, announcing the loss of the "Guinea family". In the background is the Bank of England with customers outside. It refers to the Bank's restriction on cash payments, expected to end in 1814, which was continued until 1818.
