Description
"John Gilpin the second, or City Light Horse Volunteers performing their evolutions"; showing gentlemen in the uniform of the Light Horse Volunteers of London and Westminster in various states of discomfort on horseback. On the left a riding master is saying "Keep your seat, sir" to one who has been thrown from his horse and lies holding his buttocks saying "My ars, my ars".
