Description
"Carrying coals to Newcastle!!"; on 22 January 1821, 65 Addresses were presented to Queen Caroline, and the brassfounders and other trades went in procession to Brandenburgh House. The procession is shown as a burlesque of a Roman triumph, with banners bearing satirical references to Caroline, Bergami and Alderman Wood.
