This is a derivative of a map originally by John Leake. This edition, engraved by George Vertue and published in 1723 includes 7 inset views of London buildings along the top of the map:
Baynards Castle, two views of the Old (pre-fire) St. Pauls, the south front of Guildhall and the Royal Exchange are depicted with individual views.
The map also has an illustration of a range of old buildings near Temple gate and a view along Cheapside and the Cross as it was before the fire. Scale: 1":50 yards [1:1800]. Extent: Morrgate - Tower Dock - The Thames - Fetter Lane
