Poster for "The Aztecs!" exhibition at Egyptian Hall, Piccadilly. The advert claims to have ‘discovered’ a tribe in the fictitious city of Ixamaya in Central America. There are two named portraits of Maximo and Bartola, who were brought to Europe and toured around for 18 years at various venues with their final exhibition being at Egyptian Hall.
