Advertisement for Nottingham Goose Fair in October 1887, with an illustration of Lalloo, presented as ‘The Greatest Living Wonder on Earth.’ The remains of the poster state Lalloo “is possessed of two bodies, one head, four perfect arms, four perfect hands, four perfect legs, four perfect feet. But Lalloo has only got one perfect head.” Lalloo was born in Lucknow, India and was likely born with polymelia, where an individual has more than the usual number of limbs.
