Description
We look over London and then see City Of Westminster Bin Lorries and Binmen emptying rubbish into them. We then see a barge on the river carrying refuse and then visit Edmonton Incinerator, seeing it first from the outside then the fire in its incinerator. Then it's out to one of London's purification works and see sewage being purified. Then its the 'sludge vessels' that take the remaining sludge to the North Sea. We sea the Ships Captain at the helm. This clip is taken from the film 'Everybody's London', the full description of this title can be seen on the LMA catalogue, the full film can also be viewed online at www.youtube.com/LdnMetArchives
