View of the White Hart Public House on no 185 Kennington Lane by Cleaver Street, Lambeth. Consists of a four-storey building with an extended ground floor. On the Cleaver Street side is a sign for the lounge area, distinguished by the heavy curtains in the windows. There is a bay window on the first floor and a window in the roof projection on both sides. On the Kennington Lane side the roof projection is flanked with two dormer windows. On the Cleaver Street side is a plague on the first floor stating the indistinguishable year of construction. The Public House is managed by Watney. Three-storey brick buildings can be seen flanking on both sides. Three individuals walk past the building in opposite directions. The Public House is believed to date from 1825 under the name of the Kennington Cross.
