View from the Golden Gallery, St. Paul's Cathedral looking across Cheapside with St. Martins-le-Grand on the left. View looking north-east showing extensive bomb damage in Summer 1942 following the demolition of unsafe buildings. The nearest church is St. Vedast's above which is Leith House, Gresham Street, to the right of which can be seen the damaged Guildhall. The damaged churches St. Giles, St. Albans and St. Lawrence Jewry can also be seen.
