Description
A view of 96-100 Mansell Street, City of London. Looking south towards the railway bridge, there is a row of shops and businesses on the right, one of which is a packing case manufacturer. Outside these there are several people chatting. Nearer the camera are some residential buildings, in front of which is a pram on the pavement. Before the bridge, two horse-drawn carts are heading to Goodman's Yard. None of the buildings in the photo survive today. The whole area, including the bridge, was redeveloped after World War II.
