View of the front of a decorative stone archway dated 1748 which leads to Inner Temple and Temple Church. The archway is part of the Inner Temple Gatehouse at 17 Fleet Street, City of London, which was originally built in 1610-11 but very much restored and rebuilt at later dates. Next to the archway is a shop called Fermaprint. On the right hand side is L. Simmonds, booksellers at 16 Fleet Street.
