A view of the entrance lobby and entrance hall inside 15 New Bridge Street, City of London. The Grade II listed building was a re-build of c1900 in the classical style. Classical features are evident by the entrance such as the domed plaster ceiling with a metal lamp shade hanging from it in the small entrance lobby. The domed ceiling is surrounded by a decorated cornice. Decorated plaster panels also flank the second set of double wooden entrance doors which contain glass windows. In front of these doors are the first set of double wooden doors which front the building. Both doors are open to reveal a view of the street beyond it. On the floor between the first set of doors is a door mat. On the other side of the small lobby leading to the entrance hall are another set of double wooden doors also containing glass windows. Both sets of doors leading to and from the lobby have decorated metal handles attached to them. A circular mosaic tiled floor can be seen on the floor of the small lobby. The entrance hall is wallpapered with a patterned floral wallpaper and small brass electric wall lights in the style of candles hang on the two walls on either side of the entrance hall. The entrance hall floor is covered with wooden floor boards. A wooden radiator cover can be seen on the right of the entrance hall and a fire alarm button with a glass panel to break in an emmergency can be seen to the left of the room. In the street through the open entrance door can be seen the back of a car and a four door saloon car parked across the road with a man walking near it. It is not known how much of the interior survives but the twentieth-century building visible through the entrance doors has been replaced by a late twentieth-century office block.
