Description
View from west of Bank Junction looking east towards Threadneedle Street and the Royal Exchange, City of London. The scene is busy with double-decker buses, cars, commercial vehicles and pedestrians. The photo is taken from the steps of Mansion House. The south façade of the Bank of England is fully visible on left. It was Grade I listed in 1950; listing number 1079134. The corner of One Cornhill is visible on right. Also visible are the entrances to Bank Underground Station at the junction of Princes Street and Mansion House Street. Vehicles include a number 8 Routemaster bus to Neasden and small van with Trollope and Colls Ltd, Electrical Dept on side.
