Description
Now redeveloped as part of Battersea Square, this is a view of the terrace of two and three storey properties at 17-43 Battersea High Street taken from Vicarage Crescent. Advertisement hoardings obscure the derelict site at 23-25, including advertisements for lager and cigarettes and an army recruitment poster. D. P. Coates, newsagent is visible at 21 and an antiques shop is based next door. A run of parked cars can be seen along the street, which includes a taxi, a commercial Ford Transit, a Morris Minor and a Ford Cortina.
